Hello, art enthusiasts! This is where you will find the most important part of me.
I'm Khang Nguyen, a digital artist located in Tucson, Arizona. Not only specialize in digital illustration, I also design graphics, edit photos, and take real estate photographs.
Born a shy kid from Saigon, Vietnam, who constantly doubted himself, I liked to imagine a whole other world where my creativity could take over. Art was the best thing to turn my desires into reality. It has instilled in me values and taught me to embrace self-worth. Scribbling on any blank wall was my childhood. It annoyed my parents but they realized what made me happy.  They became my biggest supporters and signed me up for art.
I started with traditional drawing using different medias. Then I quickly fell in love with photo editing after discovering a free website in high school. I was a big Vietnamese underground rap fan and back then no one really wanted to spend for a designer. I got to gain experience and build followers by designing song cover arts for free.
In the past 10+ years dedicating to digital arts, yet I often feel as though I am merely scratching the surface of this vast field. I'm grateful for this passion that continues to drive my desire to learn.
Thank you for visiting. Stay creative!
Q&A

What do I use for work?
I mostly go with Adobe's. I use Photoshop for most illustrations or photo editing that require detailed manual works, Illustrator for vector arts and logo design, InDesign for layouts, and Lightroom for photographs.

What do I like besides art?
I love watching UFC, podcasts, stand up comedy, science and astronomy videos, crime and mistery storytelling. I like going to the gym, doing outdoor activity, being helpful, staying up late, but I also enjoy any kind of activity when I just want company.

What is my favorite dish:
Vietnamese grilled pork chop with broken rice (Cơm Tấm Sườn), and Vietnamese sandwich (Bánh Mì).

What do I wish I knew sooner?
-   The harder it is to start, the greater it feels to finish.
-   Physics, Chemistry, Science, and Math actually show me how reality and the universe work, not just some boring subjects I thought I would never need.
-   Geico could save you 15% or more on car insurance.
-   It is helpful to educate kids early about safety/survival skills indoor/outdoor and train them to save someone (or at least help keeping someone alive) from common occurrences or injuries like seizure, heart attack, losing blood, being stabbed, bones break, etc. There's been proofs of kids reacting well in danger or saving family member by simply recognizing the situation and notifying an adult.
